The tent is quick and easy to set up, and the repacking instructions provided by the company ensure that you can efficiently pack it away. Customers have praised the tent for its ability to stay dry even in heavy rain. One reviewer mentioned using the tent on the wettest weekend of the year and staying completely dry inside. The tent's double skin design and 4000 HH flysheet ensure superior waterproofing. Additionally, the tent features a thick 10,000 HH sewn-in groundsheet, providing extra protection from the elements. The tent's Construction is also highly regarded. The solid poles and joints are durable and unlikely to break or snap, unlike standard elasticated fibreglass poles. The tent's UV protection adds to its longevity and resistance to weathering. The CUB 2 offers a comfortable sleeping area, with enough space to fit a 6ft 3in sleeping pad or two. The tent's walls taper up towards the roof, so laying higher off the ground may decrease the lay length. The tent also features a small zip near the floor on the inside layer, which can be used to connect to external power sources. One potential downside mentioned by a customer is that the porch area is not waterproof. If it is raining and you are Constantly going in and out of the tent, the porch area may get wet and muddy. However, this does not affect the interior of the tent. Overall, the Slumit CUB 2 Instant Tent is highly recommended for its ease of use, excellent waterproofing, and durability. It is a reliable choice for camping in various weather conditions.
