  • Edox Neptunian Automatic Stainless Steel Blue Dial Date Divers Mens Watch Model# 80120-3BUM-BUF / 80120 3BUM BUF / 801203BUMBUF More than 50 years since Edox launched their legendary Skydiver collection, the Neptunian line becomes a collection in its own right, a natural evolution of a timeless classic, and a worthy addition to the Edox family of Water Champions. This extremely rugged diver features a 44 mm stainless steel case with a majestic navy blue dial under a 3 mm thick scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and bordered by a uni-directional rotating dive bezel on a matching blue ceramic top ring. It has silver-tone and luminescent arrow-pencil hands and applied indices as hour markers. The protected screw-down crown is at the 3 o'clock position, adjacent to the date aperture. This watch is equipped with a stainless steel bracelet and secured by a folding clasp with push-button release. The decorated stainless steel caseback features an engraving of Neptune, the Roman God of the Sea, wherein underneath lies the Sellita-based Caliber 80, a Swiss automatic movement beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, generating up to 38 hours of power reserve and is water resistant to 1000 meters/3300 feet. Edox which means “measuring of time” in Greek was founded by Christian Ruefli-Flury in 1884. Ruefli-Flury was a highly talented and romantic “Maître- Horloger” from Grenchen, Switzerland. He handcrafted a pocket watch for his beloved wife's 25th birthday which impressed her greatly, convincing her husband to set up his own watch making company in Biel. A brand that literally began with a true love story. After more than 140 years, Edox has forged its reputation as the water champion of the watch world while also having a long history of involvement with motorsport.
