Product Details
- Tree Tanglefoot Insect Barrier helps protect your trees by creating a sticky coating that forms a physical barrier against crawling insects. This 15oz tub of ready-to-use formula is applied around tree trunks to help trap ants, moths, beetles, cankerworms, weevils, and other crawling insects as they try to climb. Non-toxic and weather-resistant, Tree Tanglefoot is safe for use on fruit trees, shade trees, and ornamental trees. By forming a sticky shield, it reduces the chance of crawling insects reaching leaves, blossoms, or fruit. Easy to apply and long-lasting, Tree Tanglefoot has been trusted by gardeners and orchard growers for over 100 years as a natural way to help maintain healthier trees.

| Instructions | Fasten Tanglefoot Tangle Guard Banding Material or similar waterproof paper or material around trunk. On rough bark trees, plug all gaps under band with cotton batting or similar material. Always use a tree wrap or barrier when applying Tree Tanglefoot to any tree. Apply Tree Tanglefoot Insect Barrier on banding material using a putty knife or disposable paddle to spread at least 3" (7.62cm) by 1/16" (1.59mm) thick. When sticky areas become covered with insects or debris, remove banding and repeat. Remove bands at end of season. |
