TRUE COMPOSITES Fiberglass Chopped Strand Mat is a standard, workhorse-type fiberglass that holds together well during work and can be torn apart reasonably well when thinner pieces are needed for contouring. It is durable and strong, making it perfect for repairing, rebuilding, and reConstructing interior products or automotive. One user was able to use it to make a concrete casting form for 460-pound foundation footers with epoxy. The concrete form held up to the use of a rubber hammer to drive out air bubbles and an electric concrete vibrator inside the form. The reviewer successfully poured 18 footers with this form and did not see any signs of cracking or other failure in the form. However, one reviewer noted that the product is not the size that it is stated to be, which caused issues for their project. Another reviewer noted that the thickness and tightness of the product were not Consistent, causing issues with parts of the mat pulling up while applying resin.
