Is this smoke extractor noisy? I bought one from another brand before and it was quite noisy.
Answer: There is a little bit of noise, but not a lot, perfectly acceptable. The fumes are absorbed well and removes most odors, which is a necessity for someone who does a lot of welding! -

Answer: The bottoms of all 4 PCB pillar holders are magnetic and you can place them on any iron plate. The square iron plate of this fume extractor is thick and solid, you can place any magnetized item on the iron plate.
