The quality of this machine is better than older models and is almost gym quality. Assembly of the home gym took around 5 hours and may require some assistance with the structural pillars. It is recommended to have a rubber mallet and a 16 metric sized wrench for faster assembly. The bench press bars may need to be padded, but foam tubular pads can be ordered online for a perfect fit. The pulleys are well-aligned, providing continuous tension throughout exercises. Overall, the Marcy 150lb. Stack Home Gym with Pulley is a solid performer and a great value. The only drawback is the limited options due to the seat. Assembly may be time-Consuming, but can be done alone in about 8 hours.
