    Answer: You will need a 50 to 60 quart tub for this product.
  • Question: Is the substrate in this kit ready to use?

    Answer: Yes, all substrates are fully sterilized and pasteurized for immediate use.
  • Question: What comes in the Mono Tub Fill Kit?

    Answer: The kit includes 3 one-pound bags of sterilized rye berries, 2 five-pound bags of pasteurized manure-based substrate, and 1 one-pound bag of pasteurized casing.
  • Question: Is this meant to be used all at one time? innoc all 3 rye bags, let colonize. Then mix with both bags manure & case & let colonize?

    Answer: I would agree with the previous suggestion from M. A Rivera . Also you could colonize the 3 rye bags with different strains and then divide the manure substrate proportionately to grow different mushrooms strains in different containers.
  • Question: how long will these materials remain viable awaiting inoculation?

    Answer: Kit is bangin bro.filled alot of totes with one kit and my own grain..keep sealed cpl months for me or simply put in fridge will last longer..just keep it sealed packed
  • Question: how do I colonize with no self injection point?

    Answer: I used tape to cover the hole made after injecting. If this is your first time try at this go PF Tek. Bulk can be more tricky. Good luck.
  • Question: Is it horse or cow manure?

    Answer: The previous answer is incorrect. We use horse manure in our manure based substrate, which is in this kit. Out-Grow
  • Question: How bad does it smell?

    Answer: It doesn't smell that i noticed , it smells like earth to me lo
  • Question: I am nuby. how do you put it together after you colonize the ryeberries

    Answer: We include instructions with the kit that explains the process.
  • Question: Does it have the required moisture and is the manure substrate enriched? Do i need to add gypsum

    Answer: You don't need to do anything to this product. It has this product has been ph adjusted and is proper proportions for almost all mushroom grows that require manure.
  • Question: To the seller. Can I buy 20-30lbs of pasteurize manure in 10lbs bags? I only need the manure.

    Answer: This question is for Out-Grow not Urban cultur
  • Question: Does the rye berries have injector ports???

    Answer: No
  • Question: Will these work for gt, b+??? thanks

    Answer: Yes, if you were to use them for that then just keep in mind that sterilization is key
