With 1 input and 1 output MIDI interface, you have 16 MIDI input channels and 16 MIDI output channels at your disposal. LED indicators show power in, MIDI in signal, and MIDI out signal. Plus, this cable is USB bus powered, so no external power source is needed. With a cable length of 2.0m (6 Ft), you have plenty of flexibility in how you set up your music studio.
The instructions are simple to follow: connect the cable marked IN to the MIDI OUT socket of your MIDI keyboard or device, connect the cable marked OUT to the MIDI IN socket of your MIDI keyboard or device, and plug the USB cable into any free USB socket on your computer. The red LED will indicate that the power is on. Once your cable is connected, open your music software program (such as Cubase or Sonar) and set the MIDI in and MIDI out devices to USB Audio Device. And just like that, your USB to MIDI interface is ready for use. To save yourself potential problems, it is recommended that you always connect this interface to the same USB socket it was originally installed on to prevent multiple installations of the driver.
