Aputure On-Camera Video Lights Editorial Review
The Aputure MC Pro RGBWW LED On Camera Video Light is a versatile and high-quality lighting solution for documentary and vlog purposes, as well as for use as an extra focus light on a film set. The light is made of durable plastic and has a solid weight, indicating a beefy battery inside. When turned on, the light is impressively bright and not to be taken lightly. However, it comes with three diffusers that can be stacked or used individually to control the intensity and spread of the light. The diffusers effectively soften the light and prevent it from being too harsh on subjects. The light's menu offers a wide range of options, including FX lighting, color lighting, and adjustable warm/cold lighting. While menu diving may not be ideal for on-the-go shooting, the light also comes with an app that allows for quick and remote adjustments, making it convenient for vlogging. Overall, the Aputure MC Pro RGBWW LED On Camera Video Light offers powerful lighting capabilities without sacrificing quality. It is a reliable and versatile choice for photographers and videographers in need of an on-camera light.
