It fits perfectly on 18mm wide straps but is not suitable for 20mm or 22mm wristwatches. While the product is manufactured in the U.S., customers are unclear whether it is meant for Northern Hemisphere only. Though the item is cheap in price, the Construction is disappointing, and the housing is plastic, although it does accurately dampen quickly. Moreover, the top is also plastic and could scratch easily. The tritium is an advantage but those not in need of it should rather opt for the Tru-Nord, which is of higher quality. The display, magnetism, and compact size serve as Pros, but the poor quality and plastic Construction of the compass holders, inaccurate attachment to the holder, and the noise it creates are significant Cons. Therefore, this wrist compass is recommendable as a backup compass, and not a substitute for a serious navigational compass.
