The Fitcamx 2K Front and Rear Dash Cam is a good option for those looking for an OEM look dual camera with 1440P and 1080P video resolution. The setup is easy and the app works well, although the download speeds could be better. The camera is powered only when the vehicle is running and will turn off when parking. Users can watch the live video feed when connecting to the WiFi of the camera, but only within 10 meters of the car. However, there have been some issues reported by users. The camera did not record loops as it was set to do, and failed during an accident. Only front and back images are available, with no left and right images. Some found the video quality to be just okay, with low bitrate 4K video and difficulty reading license plates at a distance. The company has recently switched to a new app called FitDVR, but there are issues of not getting a live preview of what the camera is seeing unless cellular data is turned off. There have also been firmware issues that prevent loop recording. Despite the issues, the camera is easy to install and fits well. It is discreet and the video quality is fine for insurance purposes. However, the lack of clear indication of recording and small memory size are a design failure that needs improvement.
