Nutritionist's Take
Now Foods Vitamin C Crystals are a highly concentrated form of ascorbic acid, offering a potent source of Vitamin C that plays a crucial role in immune function, skin health, and antioxidant protection. The product is praised for its high quality and purity, making it suitable for a wide range of dietary needs, including those following vegan or vegetarian diets. However, while the benefits of Vitamin C are well-documented, potential drawbacks include the risk of gastrointestinal upset in some individuals if taken in excessive doses. Additionally, consumers should consider the lack of whole food matrix which may provide synergistic benefits found in natural sources. Overall, this product can be a healthy choice for individuals looking to boost their Vitamin C intake, but moderation is key, and it is advisable to consult with a healthcare provider before making it a staple in one's diet.
