The MICRO mat captures gold easily with minimum Cons, saving time and effort that would have otherwise been spent panning. The Construction of the sluice is excellent and the mats are easy to clean. However, there are some Cons to Consider. The black sand goes under the metal flange that holds the mat in and a v mat needs to be installed to top it off. Additionally, the top 5 rows of cells clear out quickly, and it is advised to clean the mats after every five gallons of classified material. Furthermore, there have been some observations that the cells' walls distort and shift heavily to one side, likely attributed to the temperature or manufacturing processes.
