Thermomate Electric Mini Tank Water Heater, ES700 6.5 Gallons Point of Use Water Heater is a perfect fit for getting instant hot water under the kitchen sink. It is easy to install and takes up little space. However, it would not be a great fit for heating water for a hot tub as recommended by the manufacturer. The mini tank water heater heats all the time when the water temperature is below the setting and can be turned off if you leave for days. However, during winters, it is recommended to turn it on all the time with anti-frozen setting. The 6.5 gal tank should be enough for 2 sinks, but make sure they are not separated too far away. The tank refills fast enough, but if you have room for installation, a 2.5-gallon unit is recommended. On the negative side, poor packaging from the manufacturer resulted in damaged products to some customers. Also, some customers received used products that had issues with water temperature and pressure release.
