    Answer: I have had mine for weeks and use it every day. It has not flattened.

    Answer: I don't know why not. I don't think it's going to melt. It's very firm.

    Answer: Depends on the structure of the chair. If the back of the chair is solid, it should work. If there is spacing between the upper and lower back of the chair, it won't work.
