Why are PVC fitting sockets bigger than their named size?
Answer: PVC sizes get their name from the inner diameter of the PVC pipe as they are nominal. -

What will this Caster Fitting Insert fit?
Answer: This Caster Fitting Insert will only fit inside the socket of a 1-1/4 Size PVC fitting. -
Question:
Where can PVC Caster Fitting Inserts be used?
Answer: They can be used to attach 7/16 stem casters to PVC projects. -
Question:
Are these made in 2" - 3" PVC?
Answer: I do apologize, however we currently only manufacture these in a 1-1/4" Fitting Insert size. -

What size of PVC pipe will this fit into?
Answer: I am afraid this does not fit inside of a PVC pipe and only fits inside of a 1-1/4" Size PVC fitting. It has the same outside diameter as a piece of pipe. The purpose of this piece is to add casters to the bottom of PVC structure that terminates in a fitting. If you need to add casters to the bottom of a PVC pipe, I would suggest you look up our FORMUFIT 1-1/4" Caster Pipe Cap, which goes over the end of a PVC pipe. Hope this helps! -

What is the hole size for the casters and is there enough material to drill a 1/2" hole?
Answer: The hole size is 7/16" and yes, you could bore out the hole to create a 1/2" hole to accept 1/2" caster stems. Hope this helps! -

Do 7/8" threaded stem casters slip or thread in? Is there enough material to tap threads?
Answer: I am afraid that these will only accept up to 7/16" threaded inserts. 7/8" would be extremely large and would not fit this insert. Hope this helps! -
Question:
What is a recommended caster size for this?
Answer: You can use any caster that has a smaller stem diameter than 7/16". Larger stems like 1/2" will not work. The caster stem must also be at least 1-1/4" long.
