While there were concerns about the durability of the body, the controls were found to be easy to use for both kids and adults. It works well on normal carpet but may struggle on longer fibers. A Consideration is the number of batteries required - the set includes 6 AA batteries for the car and one 9V battery for the remote control. Each charge lasts about 30-40 minutes.
