Ritchie Compasses Editorial Review
The RitchieRitchie compass has garnered positive reviews from customers who have made the switch from their older models. Users appreciate its robust Construction and stylish design, which complements modern navigation systems like Garmin devices. Installation is straightforward, typically requiring just a couple of wires, and many found that the product includes everything needed for a hassle-free setup. The compass stands out due to its accurate readings and an easily readable back-light display, which is particularly advantageous for night navigation. While some reviewers noted the need for calibration based on their geographic location, they reported that the adjustments were simple to implement. The visibility of the green light has also received attention; it is praised for being easier on the eyes compared to traditional red lights, although a few users still express a preference for red illumination. Another highlight is the size of the unit, which is larger than expected for some users—something to Consider during installation. Despite varying experiences in terms of calibration, users unanimously agree that the RitchieRitchie compass enhances their boating experience with its performance and aesthetic appeal. **
