Biographies Editorial Review
**** "Mary My Mother" from the St. Joseph Picture Books series has garnered a warm, enthusiastic reception from parents and caregivers, particularly those with young children. The book’s engaging and beautiful illustrations effectively capture the essence of its narrative, making it a beloved tool for teaching children about the Catholic faith, specifically the significance of Mary, the mother of Jesus. Many reviewers note how the book has sparked curiosity in their children, with one parent highlighting how their 3-year-old daughter eagerly asks questions about the figures depicted within its pages. This keen interest not only showcases the book's appeal but also emphasizes its role as a catalyst for family discussions about faith and spirituality. It’s highly praised for its educational value and suitability as a bedtime story, which helps children begin to understand their religious beliefs in a gentle and accessible manner. Moreover, the user feedback indicates that the book makes for a perfect gift, especially during festive occasions like Easter. It has also found its place in educational settings, such as Girl Scout programs, where it serves as a resource for achieving religious awards. However, there is a note of caution regarding pricing; one buyer lamented the discrepancy between the perceived value (suggesting the book is priced much higher than market rates) and the actual cost they incurred upon purchasing. Overall, “Mary My Mother” stands out as a highly recommended children’s book that harmoniously blends beautiful storytelling, religious education, and interactive engagement. **
