Dorman Keyless Entry Systems Editorial Review
The Dorman 99154 Keyless Entry Remote 5 Button is a programmable device that allows users to program their own key fobs for select vehicle models. It is compatible with various GMC, Buick, and Chevy models, including the 2015 Acadia, 2007 Buick Lucerne, and 2014 Buick Enclave. According to customer reviews, the programming process is relatively easy and straightforward, with clear instructions provided. Users have reported success in programming multiple key fobs, with all functions, including remote start, working properly. Some customers even mentioned that they were able to program additional key fobs, saving them money compared to hiring a locksmith. However, there are a few negative reviews stating that the device did not work for their specific vehicle model. One customer mentioned that it did not work for their 2012 GMC Acadia, resulting in wasted money. Another customer expressed disappointment in the product's limitation of only four programming sessions, which makes it unsuitable for locksmiths or businesses needing a long-term solution. Overall, the Dorman 99154 Keyless Entry Remote 5 Button has received mixed reviews. While many customers have had success in programming their key fobs, there are some who experienced issues with compatibility and limited programming sessions.
