The file cabinet is made of particle board, which is not as sturdy as solid wood. The bottom of the cabinet is only 1/8 inch thick and is not suitable for holding any significant weight. The bottom three drawers are not made to hold any weight, only hanging files. The top drawer can be locked, but not the other three. The file cabinet assembled fairly easily, but may require help. Some customers received missing parts, but they were sent within a week. Delivery times can be delayed due to staffing issues.
