RadonSeal is a penetrating, deep sealer used to densify and strengthen concrete driveways, floors, walls, rooftops, decks, and more. It does not fill hairline cracks, but seals and protects surfaces, indoors and outdoors. It can be used on various types of surfaces, making it versatile. RadonSeal comes in two variants, RadonSeal Standard and RadonSeal Plus, the latter being better for more porous, older concrete surfaces. It will not make surfaces slippery, and does not affect surface friction. It is not recommended to use airless sprayers for RadonSeal application. The sealer must be applied to bare and porous concrete, without any prior coats of paint. It is safe for use on concrete surfaces that will be coated with vinyl plank flooring. RadonSeal can prevent moisture from wicking up through concrete, although it is not a substitute for proper waterproofing practices. Thicker, high-quality concrete requires much less sealant than thinner, lower-quality concrete. In some more extreme cases, combining RadonSeal and Ion-Bond Armor can be helpful to produce the tightest possible seal against vapor transmission.
