- Sonunda öldürürüz annelerimizi çünkü artık yalan söylemek istemeyiz.Avusturyalı yazar Margit Schreiner'in Ayrılık Üçlemesinin Türkçede ilk kitabı -Almanca aslında son kitabı- olan Sevmek Dedikleri; birinci tekil anlatıcının yaşamını herkesten fazla şekillendiren seksen üç yaşındaki annesini bakımevine yatırıp onunla vedalaştığı son günlerini dokunaklı bir dille anlattığı uzun Ölüm öyküsüyle başlıyor. Anlatıcı ikinci öyküde, insanın sonsuz sevgi hayaliyle yüzleştiği bir Düğün kurguluyor; son öyküde, kızını dünyaya getirdiği sancılı Doğumun bedeninde ve belleğinde bıraktığı izle, bu kez anne oluşuyla yeni bir başlangıcı betimliyor.Sevmek Dedikleri, birbirine bağlanan üç öyküden oluşan, doğum ve ölümün, bitimsiz çelişkilerle dolu anne-kız ilişkisinin, sevgi özleminin ve sevginin imkansızlığının sarmal yapısı üstüne çarpıcı biçimde adaletsiz, iğneleyici, acımasız bir monolog.Derler ki insan hayatta ilk nasıl sevildiyse öyle sever. Her yerde okuyabilirsiniz. Bütün ikilem de bununla başlar zaten. Daha doğrusu doğumla.Bazı giriş cümleleri unutulmazdır. (.) Margit Schreiner'in zekice yazılmış metninin çok büyük bir ayrıcalığı var: Tabuları yıkmıyor, şakacı bir üslupla ayağa kaldırıyor. Ulrich Weinzierl, Die Literarische WeltSchreiner, yurttaşı Thomas Bernhard'ın verip veriştirdiği öfkeli tiratlarından bu yana en kara mizahı yapıyor.
