MFL. Network & Cable Testers Editorial Review
The MFL 13-Plug Audio Cable Tester Line Finder is a handy tool for checking the continuity and connectivity of various cables. Users have found it useful for testing cables with ends in different rooms or even buildings, though a detachable version may be more suitable for such scenarios. Unfortunately, the tester does not have latching capability for detecting intermittent connections. However, it can be used to test a variety of cables including XLR and HDMI, and it is advised to avoid directly plugging powerCon cables into a wall outlet. Furthermore, the tester is described as being scratch-resistant and does not necessarily require a dedicated case for storage. While some users have requested additional video cable testing options, the current version of the tester mainly focuses on audio cables. Overall, the MFL 13-Plug Audio Cable Tester Line Finder is a useful tool for audio cable testing, but may not meet the needs of users requiring extensive video cable testing capabilities. **
