Hoya KIT FILTRES DIGITAL II Ø40.5MM Editorial Review
The Hoya DIGITAL Filter Kit II, featuring a Ø40.5 mm setup, sums up quality and affordability in a compact package tailored for both beginner and enthusiast photographers. This kit includes three essential filters: a UV filter, a circular polarizer, and an NDx8 filter. While some users Consider the UV filter superfluous — citing it mostly as a protective measure — the other two filters stand out due to their exceptional quality, delivering excellent performance without noticeable color cast or artifacts. Photographers particularly appreciate the NDx8 filter for its ability to create smooth, motion-blurred effects in water and skies. The circular polarizer is lauded for enhancing colors, reducing glare, and producing vibrant contrasts, particularly when capturing landscape shots. A few users pointed out that they often utilize the UV filter purely as a lens cap, which showcases its dual purpose. Despite the apparent quality of the filters, the design of the provided case has left some users dissatisfied, as it lacks proper protection against dust and damage, resembling more of a wallet than a sturdy case. Additionally, it's worth noting that users are limited to using only one filter at a time due to the screw-on design. This filter kit is highly recommended for those venturing into landscape photography or anyone looking to experiment with filter effects. The overall reception reflects delight in the balance of quality and price, making it a reliable choice for enhancing photographic experiences. **
