Which direction do I put these filters on the green enclosure? Rougher side towards back, or rougher side towards front? Thanks!
Answer: Coarser filter goes to the back so that it can remove the bigger particles before filtering on the finer side. My filter unit has two cartridges so I change one alternately every time I do a water change, every 3 weeks. -

Can someone please measure the filter with a ruler. Several people have asked and no one has answered with actual measurements.

I have a filter with red insert carbon filter has to be attached to fits inside of 35 gallon filter can't remember which filter type it was help
Answer: I would recommend you call our team at 1-800-526-0650 if you think it was one of ours. The red insert could be a bio grid which comes with one of our lines. Also, look at the top of the filter. We mold the model name and size in all of our lids. -

I have a 1.4 gallon Imagitarium tank. Which replacement filter can I use?
Answer: Anthony, Google Imaginarium B/C small replacement filters. The Imaginarium tank setup comes with it’s own internal filter box (and you want replace the filter medium that goes inside that box). As far as I can tell it doesn’t use Whisper filter pads. -

Answer: The inside is filled with carbon. If you dump the carbon, then yes it is cuttable. -
Question:
I have a 20 gallon tank wit tetra whisper ex 30 filter. how frequently do i need to change the filters ?
Answer: Carbon deactivates after 30 days, so you need to change this filter every 30 days at a minimum. If you notice that the flow is getting blocked sooner than that, you need to be vacuuming your gravel & doing more frequent water changes. good luck. -
