Although it is a bit expensive, it is an effective alternative to resin that doesn't warp plastic. It can be dyed with water based dye, but only after rigorous mixing, and it can be tinted with pigment. The product sets quickly and clear and should survive most children but quickly crumbles to pieces with too much handling. It works great for smaller pours and multi layer pours, but is not good for more sizable casting projects. While it is buoyant, it is not designed to float. The customers are very satisfied with the end product, but its handling is difficult, and the bits are challenging to clean up as they stick to everything. The package could be more professional in appearance.
