This junior cooking set is an excellent choice for children who want to learn to cook. The included recipes are fantastic, and the book provides fantastic information about the basics of cooking. The plastic knives surpass the expectations, they allow the child to cut through dough without endangering themselves or others. The utensils are dishwasher safe, and it is confirmed that they hold up well in the dishwasher. Moreover, the set makes a great gift, particularly suitable as a stocking filler or Christmas gift. The only downsides mentioned were the lack of a chef's hat, the broken measuring cup, and the flimsy carrying case that tends to break easily, but it doesn't take away from the overall product experience.
