TELEFUNKEN Multipurpose M80 Editorial Review
**** This microphone has garnered enthusiastic praise from users who appreciate its superior sound quality compared to standard live microphones. Many reviewers note that it offers studio-like clarity and warmth, making it an excellent choice for those who are tired of the typical dullness associated with live mics. With improved handling of plosives and a cleaner sound in the low midrange, the microphone has been described as a significant upgrade from common models like the SM58. Users have highlighted its bright sound profile, characterized by detailed mids and a smooth high end, which contributes to a more professional sound experience. While there are some comments regarding the weight and physical design of the microphone, most reviews agree that it feels solid and well-made in hand. A slight decrease in output compared to other models was noted, with some needing to adjust gain levels, but this has not detracted from overall satisfaction. On a note of caution, there was a single critique regarding the quality of the mic clip, which did not meet expectations. Overall, this microphone has emerged as a favorite among users, with a high recommendation rate for its performance and sound quality, marking it as a reliable choice for both live performances and recordings. **
